Water Tap's water leakage treatment

In fact, the structure of the faucet is very simple, the maintenance of water leakage can be repaired by yourself, in general, the problem of water leakage can be solved as long as the shaft gasket or triangular gasket and other gasket parts inside the faucet are replaced. However, before the renovation, the main faucet switch in the house must be turned off.
Regarding the repair of water leakage at the faucet joint, the cause of the leakage is nothing more than damage to the water-stop tape on the part of the faucet (fixing screw). Therefore, just use the plate pliers to remove the faucet, and re-roll the new water-stop tape in the place where the screw is fixed, the following is the maintenance step: First, first tie the faucet tightly, and use the plate pliers to turn the faucet to remove it in a counterclockwise manner. Second, turn the threaded hole outward and roll it 5-6 times along the clock with wind printing tape on the threaded part.
See if the faucet is adjusted and tethered in the direction of the clock, and finally after the installation is completed, turn on the main switch to try and confirm whether there will be water leakage.

Even if the faucet is tightened, it will still leak:
1. The cause of water leakage at the water outlet: It is caused by the wear of the shaft gasket in the faucet. Use pliers to loosen the gland and remove it, and remove the shaft spacer with a clamp and replace it with a new one.
2. The cause of water leakage in the gap in the lower part of the faucet: It is caused by the wear of the triangle sealing gasket in the gland. You can loosen the screw to remove the tether, then loosen the gland and remove it, then remove the triangle gasket on the inside of the gland and replace it with a new one.
3. Water leakage at the joint of the pipe: Roughly the cover nut is loose, at this time you can re-tighten the cover nut or replace it with a new U-shaped gasket.
If the faucet finds that there is less water, it may be a water leak, because the water-stop disk of the single faucet is stuck in the sand, this phenomenon is still found by a professional maintenance technician to disassemble the faucet to clean up, but if the rubber pad is damaged, it must be replaced. Generally speaking, the correct use of faucets refers to not rotating the faucet too tightly, so that the faucet rubber pad can maintain a life of 7 or 8 years, but the faucet of the hot water part is easy to reduce its life due to thermal expansion and contraction, so it is usually recommended that the glue pads on both sides of the hot and cold are best replaced regularly at the same time.
