How to replace the hot and cold water faucet with a new one

1. Prepare the valve core and tools
Buy the same size spool, a slotted or Phillips screwdriver, or Allen wrench, a needle-nose pliers, and a pocket knife.
2. Remove the hot and cold water button
Turn off the water source switch to avoid spraying water when replacing. Find a button or plastic cap with cold water and pry it off with a knife.
3. Remove the handle
After turning on the hot and cold water button, see what shape the screw is, whether it is a sword or a cross, or a hexagonal screw, and then decide which screwdriver to use, or Allen wrench. Remove the screw in the hole with a screwdriver and remove the tap handle.
4. Remove the spool
Some valve cores also have a layer of fixed shell cover, and you can remove the cover. The four claws on the clamp that holds the spool are stuck with sharp-nosed pliers and rotated clockwise to remove.
5. Original path installation
Replace the new spool, reinstall the other components, install the faucet handle, punch the water source valve, try whether there is water leakage, lock the handle after the situation is handled, and install the hot and cold water plastic cap.
